The pianist and composer Clara Peya returns with a new work: Estómac, a record that combines the sounds of jazz, rap, pop and electronics to continue with a feminist manifesto, which seeks to deconstruct the idea of romantic love.

Pianist and composer, Clara Peya is considered one of the most original and unique creators who have appeared in recent times in the country’s music scene. A frantic biography that transits between music, theater and activism.

Musically, Peya is unclassifiable: it oscillates between chamber music, jazz, pop and electronica, always keeping the piano as the center of gravity.

She is energy and feeling in a pure state, without leaving aside the cry and the commitment to freedom. A contagious and torrential artistic personality that strips naked, transforms and spreads throughout the stage and beyond. Her personal way of playing has made her one of the most scenic and transgressive pianists in Catalonia.

An avowed feminist, she defines herself as “restless, visceral, intense and transcendent.” Clara Peya flees from topics and, above all, believes in the power of art to denounce “to my music I say romantic-contemporary or punki-romantic.” Music is everything to her, she uses the piano to express herself, to be free and to transmit ideas.
