Ten Rusty Strings was formed in the summer of 2015 when, after some years of street music, they decided to rethink the future of a cello-guitar duo that was more than expected. Thus, at the end of 2015 they recorded some songs and their first videoclip, and began to do concerts and to play in different format shows.
During the following years they have the fortune of playing in several rooms and pubs of the Valencian territory and in festivals such as the Open Stage Valencia and being the soundtrack of the centenary of the Olympia Theater. In the 2018-2019 season they bring to the theater the show “Rutes” and they combine it with the “Rock Night” format, which they have been carrying out since 2017.
Ten Rusty Strings embraces a huge range of musical styles. During their concert in the Sala Matisse, the audience will not only be able to listen to their own works, but also great classics adapted to the acoustic idiosyncrasies of a cello and a guitar.
Albert Antolí (cello), Alaitz Zalbidea (guitar), Carlos García (cajón). Horacio Bort collaborates with the voice.
